The finished product. Actually, there are a pair, but I needed the other hand to hold the camera. I'm really pleased with how they came out, especially as I had never done the double-pointed tubular knitting before. They fit! My hands will be toasty warm when I'm typing this winter.

Those are really smart - haven't seen any nearly so good in the shops, although I caved in and bought some black/sparkly silver fingerless gloves I saw out of desperation. I suspect they may not be very insulating when it gets really cold, as they're made of something heinous and artificial, not wool. But now I can turn the pages when I read at the bus stop...
